Privacy

The short version: this site doesn’t track you. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party requests of any kind. The long version follows, and it’s not much longer.

Who we are

Lythronax Ltd is a software studio registered in England and Wales (company number 17377478, registered office 28 Fairfield Street, Lincoln, LN2 5NE). For anything on this page, we’re the data controller, and you can reach us at hello@lythronax.com.

What this site collects

Nothing, unless you send us an enquiry. Even the fonts are served from our own domain, so loading this page tells no one else you were here.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs for security and to keep the site running: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and when. Netlify holds them for a limited period under its own privacy policy, and we use them for nothing else.

Our example sites

The example websites linked from our home page are concepts for fictional businesses. Their contact and booking forms are demonstrations: nothing you type into them is sent anywhere or stored.

If you use our enquiry form

The form sends what you type (your name, email address, business and message) to our hosting provider, Netlify, which stores it in our account and forwards it to our inbox. Netlify handles it on our behalf as a data processor, under its data processing agreement, and may store it in the United States under that agreement’s safeguards for international transfers. We use it only to reply, and keep it in the same way as email, below.

If you email us

We receive your address and whatever you choose to write. We use them to reply, and we keep the correspondence the way any business keeps its post, while the conversation is live and for up to two years afterwards, on the lawful basis of legitimate interests. We don’t add you to any list.

If we write to your business

Now and then we email a business, one at a time, about its website or about working together. We use only the business’s name and the contact details it publishes itself, on its own website or at Companies House, on the lawful basis of legitimate interests. We only write this way to limited companies and LLPs. Every email says how to opt out; reply and say so, and we’ll note it and never write again. If you don’t reply, we delete those details within six months.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or share your data, profile you, buy mailing lists or send newsletters. If one of our products ever needs its own privacy policy, it will have one, under its own name.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email us and a person will sort it out. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Given what this site does, we don’t expect that to happen often.
